After the summer break, the series of free Longueville Hall Presents ... talks resumes this Friday (18 September) with Agents, Aliens and Spies with author and historian Philomena Liggins. This promises to be a fascinating insight into the history of the British intelligence services from the Tudors through to the Cold War.
Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start. The bar will be open and we will have the usual family-friendly quiz after Philomena's talk. The formal part of the evening will end around 9pm.
There is no advance booking, just come along! Entrance is free but voluntary contributions towards Philomena's chosen charity, the Epilepsy Society would be welcomed.
