Buckinghamshire Council’s consultation on their Regulation 19 version of the Draft Buckinghamshire Local Plan expired at midnight on Sunday night (Sunday 06/09/2026).

Many thanks to everyone who submitted their comments to Bucks before the deadline. You have very usefully highlighted a number of concerns. After going through the Plan page by page and line since it was released in late July, we have raised around 180 items.

The most common issue we’ve found is where Buckinghamshire council’s site selections within this parish do not meet multiple requirements contained within their own policies (ecology, flood risk, health & education provision, heritage, traffic, etc.). Then we have the issue that 92% of the housing allocations are in the north (the former Aylesbury Vale district) despite only 29% of housing need being in this area.
